A Troubadour Journey

About

Folk singer Gareth Davies-Jones is walking from Lindisfarne to Durham using St Oswald's Way and The Way of Light and doing a series of small concerts on the way. His intention is to compose songs as he walks and have a fuller tour next year singing the songs he will compose this year.

Troubadour Journey - Confirmed Itinerary:

Sun 8th June                   - St Cuthbert’s Centre, Holy Island.

Mon 9th June                  - Holy Island to Bamburgh  - Spittal Community Centre, Spittal, Berwick.

Tues 10th June               - Bamburgh to Craster - St Peter The Fisherman, Craster.

Weds 11th June              - Craster to Warkworth - House Concert at Warkworth.

Thurs 12th June              - Warkworth to Rothbury - House Concert at Rothbury.

Fri 13th June                   - Rothbury to Kirkwhelpington - St Bartholomew’s, Kirkwhelpington.

Sat 14th June                  - Kirkwhelpington to Heavenfield - No concert but inviting folks to join me at Great Whittington to walk to  St Oswald’s Church where I’ll play a few songs informally in the grounds (Please email info@garethdavies-jones.com)

Tues 17th June               - Heavenfield to Hexham - No concert but joining Evening Prayer at Hexham Abbey.

Weds 18th June              - Hexham to Edmundbyers - St Edmund’s Church, Edmundbyers.

Thurs 19th June              - Edmundbyers to Lanchester - All Saints Parish Church, Lanchester.

Fri 20th June                   - Lanchester to Durham - No concert but joining Evensong at Durham Cathedral.
