About
This is a chance for young artists to explore, observe, experiment and express ideas in a creative and innovative way. Inspired by the Museum’s collections and exhibitions, learners will be encouraged to use a range of materials and techniques to develop ideas in a relaxed, practical setting. Sessions led by a textile/mixed media artist will incorporate a breadth of art/craft activities; printing, textiles/fashion, clay, drawing/painting, recycling, relief, 3D activities and many more. Gallery tours will allow learners to take photographs to support research and observational skills. A real life experience into the world of arts/crafts which will support learning at KS2, 3 and develop portfolio evidence at KS4.
