People hugging trees in forest.

About

Escape the everyday and unwind. The rush and bustle of modern life has disconnected us from our place in and our understanding of the natural world around us. We have lost touch with the immense support that Nature provides for us. We no longer know how or where our food is grown, or the impact our actions and choices have on our environment, nor do we have time to really care, or to properly take care of ourselves and our wellbeing.

Time now to take a step back, and spend two hours relaxing in the green and gentle embrace of Mother Nature. Bring only yourself, your yoga mat or picnic rug, a cushion and a shawl or light blanket.

This is a small group activity. We will hold space for ourselves, with short guided meditations, mantras and poetry, and we will interact directly with the natural world around us, through movement. observation, listening, touch, smell, forest bathing and tree hugging.

These exercises will enable us to reconnect to our rightful place as part of Nature. Before we part we will set our intentions for the day ahead.

Please wear layers of clothing suitable for our variable and unpredictable English weather. Enclosed footwear (wellies, walking boots) is advisable for walking in the fields and forest. Waterproofs may be needed.

OTHER INFORMATION
If you wish to bring refreshments we ask that you respect our vegan values and only bring plant based foods and drinks. We also request that you do not bring single use plastic bottles as we have signed the Dopper Pledge to not have these on site. HOW TO FIND US –

IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE
Access to the farm by vehicle is via Truro Avenue, Murton, SR7 9LG. (this is NOT the farm postcode, which, in many satellite navigation systems, provides the wrong directions). On foot or bicycle, the farm can be accessed by various surrounding footpaths from Murton, Seaton, or Dalton le Dale. Number 61 bus stops in Truro Avenue, near the start of the farm lane, which is located between numbers 42 and 43 Truro Avenue. There is free parking in the farmyard. There is a compost loo and outdoor urinals. Hand washing is available. There is a small shop where you can purchase our products
