**Kynren - an epic tale of England will return in 2021 and welcome visitors every Saturday from the 7 August to the 11 September.**
From daylight to starlight watch legends come to life in a thrilling tale told on an epic scale - 2,000 years in the making. Unique in the UK, this world-class performance takes place on a 7.5-acre outdoor stage complete with its own lake and features hand to hand combat, daring stunts, more than 30 graceful horses, stunning pyrotechnics and amazing special effects all set to a thrilling original soundtrack.
New for 2021 – The Park is an exciting new development offering visitors an action-packed afternoon of thrilling and fun experiences including a truly spectacular Horse Stunt Show, immersive family attractions and all-new dining options. Visitors can discover the new Maze of Fame and mini explorers' themed Adventure Playground, and reunite with existing favourites including the Viking Village and Animal Croft. Enjoy tasty treats from the new food outlets or relax and recharge away from the hustle and bustle of the Park in one of the new reserved seated dining experiences.
Then take your seat for the award-winning performance of Kynren. Watch Boudicca's courageous but doomed uprising against the Romans and the clash of Viking and Anglo-Saxon leaders at the battle of Stamford Bridge. See daring knights joust on horseback at full charge, for the merriment of Bishop Bek, the Prince Bishop of Durham, and his colourful entourage. Step aboard Queen Elizabeth I's royal barge, join in the lavish celebrations of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee and travel with the brave soldiers to the battlefields of the continent during both World Wars. Finally, be thrilled by our new finale fireworks.
Please note: Kynren 2020, and the launch of the new Park will not be able take place this summer due to the uncertainty surrounding government guidance on travel and the hospitality and leisure sector. For further information, please visit www.kynren.com/season-2020.
