East Durham Artists' Network (EDAN) is a voluntary group of East Durham professional and amateur artists working in a wide variety of media, operating from the Art Block gallery in Seaham, close to the Byron Shopping Centre. EDAN artists use paint, photography, printing, writing, ceramics and textiles to tell the story of the local area by working with national and international arts organisations as well as local schools and universities, giving a voice to the next generation to encourage their interest and involvement in the arts. In the Footsteps of Eadfrith exhibition will respond to the style, content and context of the Lindisfarne Gospels. For more information, please visit EDAN Art's website or Facebook page.
