When you're looking for Sedgefield events, the best answer is a day at the races, and this one is one of the best at Sedgefield. It's one of the most prestigious meetings of the year, featuring the iconic Durham National.
A fixture at Sedgefield since 1955, The Durham National is the biggest race to take place at the racecourse. The race happens every October and is run over three and three-quarter miles.
Come and join us for jump racing at Sedgefield, set in the glorious Durham countryside. Make it a family fun day out as under 18s go free and enjoy the thrilling sights and sounds of superb horse racing as horses and jockeys race over fences and hurdles.
