Christmas Afternoon Tea at High Force Hotel. Image of treats and fairy lights.

About

What could be more quintessentially British than a Christmas Afternoon Tea this festive season?  Did you know that afternoon tea dates back to the 1840’s and was started by Anna Maria, the 7th Duchess of Bedford.  It was intended as a light mid-afternoon break between luncheon and dinner

Whether you are having a Christmas catch up with friends or family,  join us at High Force Hotel & Waterfall for our traditional take on afternoon tea with a selection of savory sandwiches, scones and sweet treats.

We will be serving your choice of Yorkshire Tea, Earl Grey or other speciality teas along with a selection of dainty sandwiches, freshly baked homemade fruit and plain scones with Yorkshire Clotted Cream and strawberry preserve. Delicious sweets including Festive Bailey’s Mousse, fruit cake, strawberry and passion fruit tart and macarons.

Prebooking is required with limited spaces. All tickets include admission to the incredible High Force Waterfall.

We look forward to welcoming you this magical Christmas season.
