Robineau Café and Patisserie is a Parisian style boutique in the North of England, a secret gem nestled in the village of Cockerton on the outskirts of Darlington, not far from the A1(M). Established in 2007, Frédéric and Jane Robineau specialise in creating exquisite patisseries, breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas, using only the finest ingredients. What makes Robineau’s special, apart from the exceptional quality, is that everything is made on site, by hand and produce is locally sourced wherever possible.
Robineau Patisserie opens at 9am Tuesdays to Saturdays, with the smell of freshly baked loaves, baguettes, croissants and scones. Our counters are brimming with a variety of homemade quiches and ready meals such as fish pies, lasagne, soufflés, sausage rolls and sandwiches. We also have counters full of patisseries, desserts, cakes and biscuits and shelves full of our homemade chocolate bars, treats and gifts and we even have a deli section!
