Auckland Project are delighted to announce a new gallery space which is opening in Auckland Castle, in the north apartments, which will be accessible to the public for the first time.
The Bishop Trevor Gallery will open on Saturday, 1 June and will be open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 16:00. The gallery will house a special programme of exhibitions, bringing fine art to Bishop Auckland, in particular European paintings dating from 1600 to 1900. This will include masterpieces on loan from private collections and institutions across the UK.
