About

Carrs Farm offers a retreat in our  17th century converted barn. From Paintball, Zorbing, Archery, clay pigeon to white water rafting and rock climbing. Carrs Farm is suitable to all individual requirements.

Action packed days can be arranged for corporate events, education, birthdays,hen and stag parties, retreats and much more.

Activities must be booked in advance, (subject to availability). 

Cycling,  Fishing, Team building,  Horse riding,  Skiing, Bird watching,  Rambling,  Meetings,  Group activities, Walkers,  Environmental,  Catering, Quad Biking, Archery & MUCH MORE

We are next to the Weardale Way and W2W routes, also the Pennine Way and not too far from the C2C route. There are 4 footpaths from our accommodation leading directly onto the above routes, one of which is a bridle lane.

Road Directions

From Wolsingham take the Hamsterley Forest road straight on to bridge, turn right up the hill, take 2nd right at top of hill, go past 2 cottages down to bunkhouse car park.

Public Transport Directions

The nearest bus stop is 2 miles in the village of Wolsingham. Bus 101 comes from Bishop Auckland, Crook to Wolsingham. Buses run from Crook and Bishop Auckland to Newcastle and Durham.
