Situated in a Designated Dark Sky Discovery Site and boasting spectacular views over reservoirs and secluded moors, it really is the perfect setting for an away day, corporate gathering or team building event.
The site, previously a youth hostel and outdoor activity centre, has been carefully and lovingly converted to an excellent standard to provide clients with one of the most unique properties in the North East to host their events.
Set within an 11 acre country estate, Blackton Grange consists of a newly renovated Barn which is a flexible event space capable of hosting up to 90 guests at any one time.
There is also the luxury farmhouse accommodation with sleeping for up to 17 , an array of communal areas & outdoor luxuries to include hot tubs and fire pits - perfect for smaller events.
Both properties can be used either in combination or on an individual basis to create your unique and exclusive event. With a wonderfully scenic setting that will be hard to beat, Blackton Grange can cater to all requirements. Whether you are looking for a unique conference space, team building retreat,

The Farmhouse:

The Barn:
Fully renovated to provide an inspiring & versatile space which makes the most of the breath-taking scenery .
The main “hall” - vaulted ceilings & rustic stone, a beautiful space for presentations, group meetings, discussions and more.
The “room with a view”. With space for up to 70 seated, floor to ceiling windows make the most of the stunning scenery. A perfect place to let the imagination and creative juices flow.
Cosy snug area - perfect for some privacy or down down during breaks

Direct access to a private, lawned outside space, perfect for more active and fun team building exercises.

The space is for exclusive venue hire for use of the barn building. Additional services such as catering and refreshments can be added on at additional costs.
