Lord Spinner Webbe has invited friends and family to his grand home for Christmas/New Year celebrations. His Lordship has a reputation for practical jokes and a love of riddles and secret passageways throughout his home. 

Tonight as his guests arrive they find him dead in his armchair in front of a roaring fire with a knife in his chest. In front of him is his torn will. Has someone finally had enough of his practical jokes or is there another motive for murder?
