Christmas Carol Service in St. Peter’s Chapel

About

All are welcome to join the Bishop of Durham, the Right Reverend Rick Simpson, for the annual Christmas Carol Service in St Peter's Chapel at Auckland Palace. This traditional Church of England service brings people together in worship and celebration of Christmas, with familiar carols accompanied by choir and organ.

This year marks the first Christmas Carol Service with Bishop Rick since his appointment as Bishop of Durham, continuing a long tradition of worship in the historic chapel of the Bishops of Durham.

The service is free to attend and all are welcome, whatever their faith background.
