About

This friendly and inviting cottage, on a working farm outside the village of Staindrop and makes a warm and cosy getaway whatever the time of year.

Hosting three bedrooms, families can feel right at home, with this accommodation being a lovely base after a day of fun and adventure.

On the ground floor you can enjoy resting with your loved ones at the dining table, and relax in the arm chair with a good book afterwards.

The elegant kitchen is oozing with vibrancy, complimented by a breakfast bar, where you can sit on the stylish seats and plan your trips for the afternoon with a cup of tea.

A king-size bedroom offers a restful night, and is tied together by patterned bedding and a bedside lamp.

You can cosy up and watch TV before drifting into a peaceful nights sleep, and in the morning, rest on the lovely sofa next to the window.

For a second escape, a conservatory is filled with character, ideal for enjoying some peace and quiet, looking out over the delightful garden.

On the next floor you will arrive at two double bedrooms neutral and peacefully arranged, one containing fashionable mirrored wardrobes, whilst the other boasts a dressing room.

A beautiful bathroom lies in between the two, bringing a sense of luxury, with sandy coloured walls, a spacious bath, and a Velux window bringing natural light inside.

On a nice day, pour a refreshing drink and sit outside in the garden to really soak in the pleasant location.

The village of Staindrop offers a selection of shops, pubs and cafes set round its long village green.

The popular market town of Barnard Castle is five miles away, with its castle, the Bowes Museum, and a range of shops and tea rooms.

Walkers can also enjoy a stroll around Teesdale.

A heart warming location with much to see in and around the area
