Established in 1808 Ushaw College remains a working Catholic seminary resting undisturbed within 30 acres of historic gardens and parklands and offers the ideal retreat from the rush of everyday life.
Ushaw has a well established and resourced conference centre available for the use of all types of groups throughout the year.
The Conference Centre is a distinct part of the College buildings where spectacular architecture and original features still prevail. The special attraction of Ushaw College Conference Centre is that we have thoroughly modern facilities in a beautiful historical setting.
Facilities include a 250 seat lecture hall, 10 large conference rooms, several smaller meeting rooms and a 200 seat refectory and accommodation for up to 180 guests.
Just 4 miles from Durham city centre and within easy travelling distance of other local attractions the Conference Centre is in a perfect location for guests to explore the North East.
