Proceed over next 2 roundabouts, turning right at next mini roundabout (Salutation Inn) and follow Finchale Road for 0.75 mile to 2nd row of white single-storey Old Pit Terrace Cottages. Number 14 on left next to little red pillar box on pole.
From Durham City Railway Station
Use taxi rank or bus station, 10 minutes walk down station bank. Turn left at bottom, cross at roundabout. Bus stop for Arnison Centre is opposite North Road Bus Station. Nos 63 and 64. Ask for Abbey Sports Centre bus stop. Head left towards Old Pit Terrace, passing car showrooms on right. Walk down hill and up hill. Number 14 over top of hill next to little red pillar box on pole.
