Overlooking the city of Durham and the magnificent Norman cathedral, St Aidan's is an ideal base from which to explore Northumberland, Cumbria and Weardale. Tourist attractions include Beamish Museum, Hadrian's Wall and Lindisfarne.
En suite and standard accommodation is available, with facilities for the disabled during university Easter and summer vacations (March, April, July and September). There is ample parking near to the accommodation.
Set in tranquil landscaped gardens, adjacent to a golf course, the college has a tennis court, TV lounge and bar. Catering for all tastes, we have an innovative chef and an excellent wine cellar.
The quaint city of Durham, steeped in history and folklore, is a short walk away. Scenic boat trips run regularly on the River Wear and walkers can experience the splendour of the riverside on foot.

Turn off the A1(M) and onto the A690 to Durham City. Take the A1050 Darlington road to the south side. The college is on the right-hand side before the golf course.
From Durham - 3 miles
Down bank to roundabout. Third left along Sutton Street. Straight across traffic light and follow road to roundabout. Take 2nd left up hill and take 1st turn left, follow signs to college.
