Lily Hill is a traditional Georgian farmhouse situated in the small hamley of Brignall amidst wonderful views. Situated 12 miles west of Scotch Corner, 4 miles south of the historic market town of Barnard Castle and the renowned Bowes Museum. Lily Hill is central for touring the Yorkshire Dales and Teesdale. Within 1 hours drive of York, Durham, Beamish, Hadrian's Wall, Newcastle, High Force Waterfall, Lake District etc and ideal as an overnight stay, being only 1 mile from the A66.
On arrival, a warm welcome awaits, with a cup of tea and homemade scones and biscuits. A good hearty breakfast is on offer and there are plenty of good eating places for other meals. Lily Hill has 2 spacious rooms decorated and furnished to a high standard, one double/family room and 1 twin room. Guest beds are put up for the family room and both rooms have hospitality trays, clock radios, hairdryers, TV, and toiletries. Guests have their own lounge/dining room and private car park.

Twelve miles west of Scotch Corner, turn off A66 at Greta Bridge. Go past Morritt Arms Hotel and turn left for Brignall, go 1.5 miles approx up Brignall Lane past the church, the farm is on the left (white sign on roadside).
From Darlington Station - 20 miles
Take the service bus to Barnard Castle. Then book a taxi to Brignall from Barnard Castle.
