Close to Beamish Museum, Durham County Cricket Club, Diggerland, MetroCentre and Durham City. Ideal for touring Northumbria which is steeped in history, with its breathtaking historic buildings such as Durham Cathedral and Castle, Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Bowes Museum, Bede's World, Hadrian's Wall, Holy Island. Other places to visit include Kielder Reservoir and Gateshead Quays with the Millennium Bridge, The Sage and Baltic Arts Centre.
