Ideal for touring Northumbria which is steeped in history, with its breathtaking historic buildings such as Durham Cathedral and Castle, Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Bowes Museum, Bede's World, Hadrian's Wall, Holy Island. Other places to visit include Kielder Reservoir and Gateshead Quays with the Millennium Bridge, The Sage and Baltic Arts Centre.

From Durham - Take A691 towards Consett. Stay on this road for approximately 3 miles. Turn left at roundabout signposted Langley Park/Quebec. Go through Langley Park towards Quebec. Take right turn, signposted "Hamsteels Lane/Square House". Hamsteels Hall is at top of hill, on right.

Public Transport Directions
