Overview

Type: Hostel

A warm welcome awaits you at Blackton Grange, a traditional farmstead in 10 tranquil acres, adjacent to the Pennine Way, in the heart of AONB country. A uniquely relaxing environment, enjoying fabulous views across the heart of Teesdale.

Tastefully furnished, Blackton Grange has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment programme, including a large, beautifully decorated lounge with oodles of charm and comfy sofas, roaring open fire, board games and Sky TV. We even have Wi-Fi Broadband.

The dining room is perfect for larger groups and our kitchen is well equipped with all the usual mod cons - toasters, coffee machines and dishwasher.

Our 10 comfortable bedrooms (sleeping 2 to 6 per room), accommodate up to 41 people. All rooms are equipped with fresh sheets and duvets.

Blackton Grange is ideal for groups, whether walkers, mountain bikers, birdwatchers or larger groups of friends and family just wanting to escape and explore some of the UK's best scenery and observe the abundance of wildlife.

Available for week and weekend lets. Group bookings only with minimum 2 night stay.
