Award-winning conversion of farm buildings. Two cottages set in a peaceful, rural location, yet within 2 miles of the city centre. They overlook their own courtyard/garden (with private parking space) and the field reaching down to the river.
Both cottages have a living and dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The central heating and cookers are gas. All bedrooms are twin: Corner has 2 and Gate has 1. Bathrooms have a shower over a bath. Bed linen and towels are provided. The laundry is shared between the 2 cottages and has an automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a small freezer and extra fridge. There is plenty of easy, off-road walking close by on footpaths and disused railway lines. The farm is 90 acres which are all down to grass and we have our own horses and a small livery yard.

From A167, take Bearpark Road (between A690 and A691). Entrance is 400yds down the hill on the left-hand side.
From Rail: Durham - 1.5 miles
Taxi is best option. Bus from North Road Bus Station. Walk down the hill and under viaduct into North Road. Bus Station is on the right. Buses passing the farm entrance are 48 and 52. Get off at 1st stop in Tollhouse Road.
