The Teesdale Hotel

The Teesdale Hotel is a family run old 18thC coaching inn, a beautiful old building, elegantly modernised to retain its ‘olde worlde’ charm. Located in the quaint stone-built village of Middleton-in-Teesdale, set in the stunning countryside of Upper Teesdale in the North Pennines area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Serving great home-cooked food recently awarded the Taste Durham Quality Assured and Local Produce Champion award and CAMRA’s Best Pub in Teesdale 2010 award. Also Casque Marque Award of Excellence for the quality of our Real Ales. We have a cosy bar with log fire in the winter and French doors accessing the patio in the summer. Well stocked cellar with good wine selection and well kept real ales. Fourteen rooms all en suite, spotlessly clean, tastefully modernised and recently refurbished. Comfortable residents lounge, drying room for wet walking gear. Private parking at the rear.
Location information. England’s largest waterfall, High Force is only a few miles away, as are Bowes Museum, Eggleston Gardens, Raby Castle and other fine historic attractions. For adventurers, Beamish Museum, Hadrian’s Wall, The Teesdale Way, The Pennine Way and Durham City are all easily accessible by car.
