Here at Oldfields we believe in real British food, simply prepared using the finest, local farm-sourced seasonal produce, at good value. And one look at our menus will tell you that's true. The ingredients that go into our kitchen come from local farms and suppliers, some of whom we've know for years. Joe Simpson of Cockfield, who rears, slaughters and butchers his own beef, Ian Alexander of Raby Estates, Wild Boar Bob in Barnard Castle and Robin Hirst from Neasham Farm near Darlington supply us with some of the finest meat available. Our vegetables come from the local markets and our recipes are based on real British dishes with heritage - one of them even comes from one of our directors Grannies - Mrs MacPherson!
