The Court Inn strives to serve honest food at sensible prices, including many home made dishes based on seasonally available local produce. This includes interesting provincial dishes from the British Isles, Europe and Asia. Game is often featured and excellent home made chips are served along with what are allegedly the best burgers in the North East, topped off with bacon, mushrooms, cheese or a fried egg.

Lip smacking ice creams and dessert menu are available and generous portions are served throughout.
