Where can I stay near to the Emirates Riverside?

Lumley Castle is the closest hotel to the Emirates Riverside, (you may have seen it when watching the cricket on TV) - a 14th Century Castle set in 9 acres of parkland, and there more hotels, a range of B&Bs, cottages and pubs with rooms and even a caravan site within a few miles radius of the cricket ground.

What else can I do?

Chester-le-Street itself is a market town just 7 miles north of Durham City, and the summer is a great time to visit.

The town's fascinating past means there are lots of things for history lovers to see and do, and Riverside Park is very popular with visitors.. Get more information on Cheslter-le-Street here.

What else is on at Emirates Riverside?

International Cricket returns to Chester-le-Street in September as England take on the West Indies in the ICC World T20. Plus, the world's biggest girl band Little Mix also play at Emirates Riverside in July.
