Thorpe Farm Centre

The beginning of 2010 saw a major refurbishment at Thorpe Farm changing it into a stylish coffee shop, food and gift shop. Mixing old traditional features with new contemporary styles to create a relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy. Both for shopping and eating, it is a must for a visit.

The coffee shop, gift and food shop and reclamation barn, which is full of interesting furniture, are open all year from 09:00 to 17:00 Monday-Saturday 10:00 to 17:00 Sundays (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day). There are animal paddocks, dog walks and outdoor play areas with pedal tractors and climbing frames, all with free access. There are a range of walks from the Centre from 1-8 miles, with a tunnel under the A66, breathtaking views across the dales are stunning. Also on site is a separate function room which is ideal for private parties or business meetings.

Groups can be catered for both during the day and in the evening, there is seating for up to 75 guests. The small certified caravan site is also becoming very popular with regulars, so why not come and stay a little longer to enjoy what is on offer. The falconry centre and summer maize maze are open seasonally with an admission charge. The falconry centre is open 2-18 April, 1-3 May, 30 May-6 June, 3 July-5 September from 10:00 to 17:00.
