Beamish Wild Ropes Activity Centre

Welcome to Beamish Wild High Ropes Course, but what is it all about?!?! Well, it’s about two hours of fun (might be a bit less if you are really brave or a bit longer if you aren’t) in the tree tops.

The course has amazing challenges for you including rope bridges, balance logs, swinging tyres, zip-wires and the adrenalin junkie’s favourite leap of faith free-fall experience. You will be given a harness (no matter how brave you are) and our staff will give you a safety brief. After that, your forest canopy adventure can start and your adrenal glands will be working overtime.

Once you have finished and your heart rate comes down from the treble digits you can visit Beamish Wild’s Adventure Park, for free!

Activities on offer include Tip Top, a 20 foot pole climb; Topple Tower, where daredevils can climb and stack a tower of crates as high as they can before it topples them off; Zipping, a run of exhilarating zip wires; Monkey Trouble tree ropes; and the giant Climbing Tree, with grips to help people squirrel your way to the top. Qualified staff from Beamish Wild will supervise all visitors using these attractions.
For those who prefer to keep their feet firmly on the ground, other activities including Birds of prey flight demonstrations, archery, tractor rides, den building and a mysterious woodland maze, have all been designed to provide hours of entertainment for the family.

After all that you can refuel at the Tree Tops Café with burgers, pizzas and salads or you can treat yourself (and friends) with a meal in our very own Stables Pub and Real Ale Brewery.
