There is a private patio area with furniture and barbecue facilities. Explore Durham Cathedral, Barnard Castle, Hamsterley Forest and Beamish Open Air Museum. The North Pennines, an AONB, are close by and there is an abundance of footpaths and cycle routes from the door. The local friendly pub serves good home cooked food and a range of real ales.
Internally, the cottage has a modern contemporary feel with flat screen TV’s, DVD players, DAB radio, ipod dock and under floor heating throughout. Cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing facilities, stair gates, high chair, t/cot, hairdryers, bed linen and towels are provided.
