The Seven Stars Inn is a little gem tucked away on the very edge of Shincliffe village. Not a place you are just going to stumble across, but well worth searching out if only to find a cosy nook in this quaint old world coaching inn within easy reach of Durham City and its many places of interest and beautiful countryside.

The Inn has remained virtually intact since 1724 and carries a range of real ales, supported by regular guest ales served by friendly helpful staff in a relaxed atmosphere.

For a truly unique culinary experience, whether it be in the comfortable appointed lounge with its homely atmosphere or popular restaurant, we offer a variety of food from traditional English fayre to Mediterranean, Continental and vegetarian meals, all beautifully prepared, presented and served by pleasant and attentive staff.

It is always worth telephoning in advance to check for availability. Should you wish to stay overnight, all rooms are well appointed with en suite facilities. Price includes full English breakfast.
