Two bunkhouses situated beside the River Tees on the Pennine Way, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. One bunkhouse sleeps 20 and the other adjacent bunkhouse sleeps 8 people.
Both bunkhouses have gas fires, sitting areas and kitchen facilities, toilets and 1 shower. Electricity for lights and fridge only (electricity on £1 coin meter in small barn). No plugs. Kitchen has gas hobs for cooking. Evening meals and breakfasts can be supplied by arrangement and packed lunches. Everything needed must be brought - pans, crockery, cutlery, bedding etc. Sorry no dogs.
This is a wonderful area for walking and sightseeing. The bunkhouses are set in the middle of farmland with fantastic views. Three miles from Middleton in Teesdale, 13 miles from the lovely market town of Barnard Castle. The local beauty spots of High Force, Low Force and Wynch Bridge can be reached from the bunkhouses by walking along the Pennine Way.
