Ferndale Cottage

Ferndale Cottage is in a prime location with fantastic views over Teesdale. Situated in Stainton Village, it is just a two-minute drive from the bustling Market Town of Barnard Castle with dozens of pubs, restaurants, museums, galleries and specialist shops. Although near the centre of activities in Teesdale, the cottage is a haven of peace and quiet.

Refurbished to a very high standard, the cottage has a sunny sitting room with beamed ceiling and real flame fire giving a warm and cosy feel, together with fabulous panoramic views over Teesdale. A large and sunny family sized kitchen with separate dining area leads out onto the garden at the rear - a real suntrap and an ideal place to sit out and relax - perfect for occasional alfresco dining while the sun goes down. The cottage has a downstairs luxury bathroom, and upstairs is a large master bedroom with a king sized brass bed, and additional bedroom with en suite shower room.

For ramblers there’s a fantastic range and variety of walks to choose from, woodland walks, riverside walks, railway walks and longer distance moorland walks.
