Dove Cottage is a delightful character cottage nestling in a peaceful location in the historical market town of Barnard Castle. The cottage is only a short stroll from the town centre which has numerous bars and restaurants.
Great care has been taken in the refurbishment of this compact cottage to ensure a cosy and welcoming holiday. Barnard Castle is located at the gateway to Teesdale and is a perfect location for exploring by car the numerous attractions on offer in the North of England - Durham Cathedral, the unspoilt coastline and castles of Northumberland, Beamish Museum and the Lake District. Bowes Museum which replicates a typical French Chateau is only 500 yards away from the cottage and there are also excellent walks and fishing.
