Surrounded by farmland next to a working farm, with stunning views over open countryside it stands just off a country lane which leads to the moors and High Force and Low Force Waterfalls are within walking distance. The area is well known for its rare plants, beautiful waterfalls and many scenic lakes. Raby Castle and Barnard Castle are within half an hour, and the cathedral city of Durham within 1 hour, with the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District easily accessible for days out. Shops and pubs 2 miles.
