Eleven thousand trees have been planted at this beautiful site. Enjoy stunning views of the countryside from all pitches. Within easy walking distance of Barnard Castle. This is a clean, well kept site with a pleasant atmosphere.
Local attractions include Deepdale 4x4 Off Road Centre, with clay pigeon shooting or pony trekking as well as taking a vehicle to the highest pub in England for a meal. Bowlees Visitor Centre is situated in an old chapel and is just across the road from one of the most attractive sections of the Pennine Way. Non members welcome. Open March - October.
