This detached dormer style holiday cottage sits on the edge of the village of Thornley only 6 miles to the east of Durham city.
With enclosed gardens to the front and rear it is an ideal retreat for all generations. Cycling, walking, horse riding, golf or exploring by car are all easily accessible from this property. The fine city of Durham with its historic cathedral and castle, fine shops, river walks and pubs are only 10 minutes away.
Beamish Museum is only 12 miles. Angel of the North just 13 miles, and Northumberland and the surrounding counties are easily accessible.
